The Right Angles | Kirsten Goss
Kirsten Goss Jewellery’s shared shop space in Bree Street, Cape Town, was recently voted as one of the top 10 addresses in the city by Vanity Fair France. A wander into the space, which she shares with other local accessory brand we love, Missibaba, towards the effervescent shimmering trinkets and you can see why Kirsten Goss Jewellery has become as distinctive as the ladies who wear it.
Her new collection called Prong is inspired by one of Kirsten’s signature, and favourite, earring designs called Pyxis. The angular and geometric shape of Pyxis has been so popular that Kirsten and her team used its form as the basis of the new collection.
The designs are classic and clean with a linear, futuristic edge, which may sound intimidating but rest assured the lightweight marvels are easy to wear and best of all punctuate any outfit. Created using sterling silver, gold vermeil and an assortment of semi-precious stones, the latter adds a soft feminine character to the otherwise edgy pieces.
